HIPAA Guidelines - The new guidelines further protect the privacy of medical information. The guidelines, which became effective in April, 2003, give patients more control over, and knowledge about, who is using their medical information. The guidelines have set a broader standard to hospitals, health-care providers, and insurers nationwide.

BISI will conduct interviews and complete the assessment, recommendations, and the work plan.

Accommodating patient rights is easier when you don't have to explain everything about the process to the patient. Our forms make it easy to understand and provide documentation of what happened.
